Here’s something new that will knock your socks off! For our holiday party next month, members voted to exchange pairs of warm and cozy socks. The catch is, you get to stuff the stockings! First, put the second sock into the toe of the first sock, and then fill it with any quilting-related item you desire. Think notions, charms, a fat quarter, or any small gift or treat. Participation in the exchange is optional, so join in the fun if you wish.
Five members were the lucky winners of sets of 20 snow globe blocks for November’s block lotto! That completes a full year of block lotto! The goal of this fun activity was to introduce new techniques or improve our skills, and we’ve certainly had fun doing that. Next year, block lotto will be interspersed with new swaps and challenges to keep things fresh and fun for our club. Stay tuned!
