Activities

In this section you will find information on CRQC’s current activities.

  • UFO Challenge
We are participating in American Patchwork & Quilting’s 2024 UFO challenge. This simple challenge, with a hint of monthly mystery, is sure to encourage you to complete some of those unfinished projects and share them with the club.
  • Workshops
Sometimes we schedule our monthly speaker to give a workshop. This page lists currently scheduled workshops.
  • Block Lotto
In 2025, you will be able to learn (or brush up on) more skills via Block Lotto. Every other month or so, we will pick a block, pick a color palette, and provide print and video instructions. Join the fun!
  • Chatsworth BOM

Come and join us for a new and fun activity! Get to know the members of our quilt club while you learn how to make this beautiful quilt. Pattern by Doug Leko. Our meetings are on the 2nd Tuesdays of each month at the Castle Rock Library.

  • The Douglas County Fair and Rodeo
Have you completed a quilt or other quilted project this year? Enter it in the fair! The fair is held each year around the beginning of August at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock, Colorado. (The 2025 dates are July 25th through August 3rd) Members of CRQC work at the fair to check in the quilts, help during judging day, hang the quilts and work in the quilt exhibit during the hours the exhibit hall is open.
