In 2026, the Douglas County Fair runs from July 26th to August 2nd. CRQC members volunteer to help with the quilts that are are entered in the fair. The schedule is:
- Take in day – Sunday, July 26
- Quilt judging – Monday, July 27
- Quilt hanging – Tuesday, July 28
