Cyndi McChesney will be teaching a workshop titled: Six Tips for Creating an Amazing Panel Quilt. It is a 3 Hour workshop on October 10th, 9 am, at New Hope Presbyterian Church. The cost is $40. Contact Debbie Tam to sign up.
The class description: “If you’ve ever purchased a panel only to get it home and not know how to create a special quilt from it, then this class is for you! We’ll explore six common issues and problems inherent in most fabric panels and how to overcome each of them including how to square up wonky images, how to maneuver a large panel into a measurement that is easy to work with, how to do the math to add interesting borders and how to use panels in several interesting settings.”
