Time for another block lotto! Don’t let these Wonky Quarter Log Cabin blocks scare you — they are quite easy and fun!
You may bring up to 10 blocks to our October 6th meeting. Each one should feature a different focus print and colored logs that complement the print (alternating with black logs, see photo at right). For each block you turn in, you’ll receive a ticket; and each ticket is a chance to win a ghoulish grouping of squares for your spooky sewing pleasure!
NOTE: The original instructions from American Patchwork and Quilting are linked below the final photo. Those instructions use a muslin backing, but ours do not. However, do keep a 12.5″ ruler or paper template handy to make sure your logs fill the entire space. Check after each pressing once you are half way through the block.
